Formed in 2013, Bennelong Brass has already established itself as one of Sydney's finest up and coming brass groups. Its musicians have appeared with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra , Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Since its foundation, Bennelong Brass has performed on the Today Show (channel 9), the TEDx Sydney 2014 Conference at the Sydney Opera House, and recently toured Italy as part of the Sydney Conservatorium’s European Chamber Music Summer School 2014. Bennelong Brass also perform at weddings and other functions and events.
As young musicians, we understand the great importance of music education. This is why Bennelong Brass avidly puts on brass educations concerts at schools throughout New South Wales. In 2013, the group toured to the Albury Region as part of the Sydney Conservatorium's 'Buddies Program' where we performed three concerts a day at many of the schools in the area. The group has also put on schools concerts in the Western Sydney Region.
